Haley High Fives and Hugs Her Way Through Green Teaming

On my first shift with the green team, I was stationed at a garbage collecting site right outside of the woods where people were camping. It was the middle of the day on the first day, so everyone was super pumped. People would see me standing by the garbage cans and come up and ask me what I was doing. When I told them I was helping people recycle and making sure all of the trash made it into the right bins, they were all super jacked. Everyone was extremely grateful I was helping out and even more happy that summer camp was being so eco-friendly. They all started cheering about recycling and a group of about 15 people all lined up to give me a hug one by one. I loved that everyone was so stoked about recycling, and it made me feel really good to be part of it. Go green team!
